Sends to topic life over FCM HTTP v1 — the legacy fcm/send API Google decommissioned in 2024 is gone, so this is a rewrite, not a port. The topic name must stay life: installed apps subscribed to it and that cannot be changed retroactively. This reaches every installed app.
